Victoria Beckham for Target

If you blinked on the morning of April 9th then you may have missed the Victoria Beckham x Target collection before if flew off the website and into shoppers baskets. In true HOWSTE tradition, I'm posting this super late, as I've been spending my weekends wearing vintage Dior and running around the city attending events and being fabulous, Carrie Bradshaw style! Victoria Beckham designed a limited edition collection with Target which was sold online via Victoria Beckham's website across the U.K and select countries plus across America via Target stores. Victoria designed a collection of pieces inspired by beautiful daughter, Harper. Creating pieces for all ages with a children's selection alongside adult pieces.

The collection was not only fashion forward, sophisticated and chic but it was totally wearable by all, with matching adult & child garments in similar designs to plus sized garments, the collection really was consumer friendly and perfect for spring/summer. Below are some of my favourite pieces:

We weren't given a release time for when the collection launched, but on the day at around 9am the website crashed placing frustrated customers in a queue to purchase items, very like those dreaded H&M launches! Very soon, all items had gone, but luckily for me, one of the coveted items was on its way to me. I picked up the tulip blouse with exaggerated cuff detail as seen on Victoria herself. I was slightly worried about sizing as I felt the online conversion from US to UK sizing slightly unclear, but I needn't have worried.

The quality of the piece is what you'd expect from a collab piece but was overall very good. As I am someone who usually wears black, I'd team mine with skinny jeans in the same and a killer pair of sunglasses to complement.
