Whitby Wedding...

I recently attended a family wedding in Robin Hood’s Bay, Whitby. A place that I had heard of but had never been before. As always, whenever family discussed the humble affair all I could think was outfits, outfits, outfits! We were there for a long weekend, and naturally I planned several outfits per day, I mean, when the excuse comes to dress up you take it right? Well I do!

Below are a selection of outfits that I put together and some photos I took of the bay. The first outfit I wore is what I call my travelling outfit. I always wear this to travel as the holdall bag matches the silk shirt, teamed with a dark navy jacket with a black side panels and my signature black skinny jeans. I love wearing these together, and they are comfy to travel in too. The patterned holdall and silk shirt/blouse were from the Versace for H&M Cruise collection back in January 2012 (gosh how time flies, that collection seems like months ago, not years!).

For the next outfit I teamed another Versace piece with white H&M basics. This was the outfit that I wore to the wedding itself. The jacket is new (to me anyway) and is a vintage Versus Versace piece that I purchased from Vintage 2 Versace in Newark (I have featured the store on my blog before). The clutch bag is by Louis Vuitton, as you most probably can tell, and is dated from 2004.

This outfit was a bargain, and I always feel like pretty woman or something when I wear this coat. Believe it or not it was a Primark sale find and was £10! I teamed it with all black items and my brown monogram Louis Vuitton ‘Pochette Accessoires’ clutch bag. Mixing high-street and high-end fashion is what I do best…

Now the next outfit I have worn before, and I didn’t get many photos of it in Whitby as I was so busy with family events and exploring the area. It is my H&M Studio SS16 navy drawstring suit (collection also featured previously on my blog). I teamed this again with my white multicolour Louis Vuitton clutch.

Overall I had a lovely long weekend away and it was nice to spend time with family and explore anew place… but now then, where’s my next excuse to dress up and put outfits together?...
