Valentine or Valentino? In The Style Review...

Well, I am going to start off by saying I loved my outfit for Valentine’s Day! My friend Jade and I had plans to go to the cinema and have a BFF Valentines night very similar to last year’s when we dressed up in Vintage Dior and watched Fifty Shades of Grey (that outfit is on the journal also!). This year was no different.

On my Instagram (which you can follow @HOWSTE) I follow the page of In The Style, an online fashion brand that collaborates with the Likes of Billie Faiers, Binky Felstead and Charlotte Crosby. In The Style is a relatively new company, certainly new on my radar, from Manchester and is run by Adam Frisby who started it in his bedroom with £1,000 of savings in 2013 (jealous much?!). Now just 3 years later, In The Style employs 30 staff, has a 7,000 sq ft premises and has plans to expand into Europe and America next year having recently launched collections in Australia. It also is on course to turn over £4.6 million which for a new brand, is pretty fantastic! Their aesthetic seems chic and very current. Their website states that they “offer the latest women's fashion at In The Style. Offering the most on trend and affordable clothing inspired by the latest celebrity style & fashion”

It was on their Instagram page that I saw them show the “I don’t need a valentine I need Valentino” Jumper which quite frankly was perfect for me, and so I ordered it especially to wear over Valentine’s. The experience of ordering was easy, I paid for next day delivery and it came just as stated. The quality? Good! Nothing amazing, but certainly not poor. At £9.99 for the jumper however there was certainly nothing to complain about (Well apart from the fact the jumper went on sale the next day!).

I teamed my new jumper with a pink shirt from New Look and my signature black skinny jeans. I also used my vintage pink & white Christian Dior bag from the Galliano/SATC years of Dior fabulousness!

There is only one problem with buying event specific clothing… I can’t wear it for another 365 days!

NB: In The Style unfortunately did not respond to emails in regards to this post.
