I recently bought the cutest Christian Dior top from Covetique. The top was vintage and reminded me of the sex and the city years of Carrie and the girls, something I relive most Sunday nights with wine. You have seen me wearing it in other posts but I never got around to telling you where it was from. Covetque is a leading online designer resale store in the UK. Offering authentic, high quality, and beautifully presented pre-owned luxury items, Covetique has eliminated the uncertainty around buying pre-owned luxury online and for that I'm greatful! I first heard of Covetique through Vogue. For me, it's a chance to buy all those pieces that I have loved in the past, while I was at school and sixth form, then without the funds to buy. It's also a chance to bag a bargain, like my Christian Dior top. The idea of buying preowned and curated designer fashion has been hugely on the rise for the past few years, ever since the recession. People have been buying, shopping and thinking smarter when it comes to buying designer items. Covetique's success is testament to this.
Buying on the website was easy and it was delivered all wrapped up in tissue paper, in a box. The best thing is, if you really don't like it, or it doesn't fit, you can send the item back! My Dior certainly won't be going back however. Did I mention you can even use Covetique to not only buy items, but to sell your designer items too? The process seems just as easy as buying, not that I have tried it yet. You simply let them know the details of you item, they collect it and do all the hard work of curating, listing and selling. In simple terms, I've found a new obsession! Below are my Favourite pieces currently on the Covetique website, they have everyone from Alexander McQueen to Yves Saint Laurent:
