The Christmas Lifestyle Edit...
It's the first weekend of December and everyone is hitting Christmas mode at full speed. With black Friday then followed by cyber Monday last week most people have started there Christmas shopping. If you're anything like me, then you may have even finished all your Christmas preparations. I've planned, bought and wrapped all my gifts, put my tree up and written all my cards out so it's now time to relax and enjoy the festive season and all of its delights. Over Christmas everyone has their little pick me up lifestyle items that they can not live without. Here are my key items that help make my Christmas so special.
Christmas Yankee Candles
One of the first items I buy at Christmas are my advent calendars and Christmas candles. Every year I purchase Yankee Candles in its seasonal fragrances to help spread festive cheer and it makes the house smell beautiful.
It doesn't matter how old you are, an advent Calendar is a must. Not only does it help you count down, you get a small treat everyday. Thinking to yourself that you're not really a fan of the chocolate? Forget that, these days you can get advent calendars in all variations. From various beauty products to candles and food items, these days there's sure to be an advent Calendar to suit you. One word of advice however is it buy quick, the really cool calendars are usually limited and sell out fast. My Favourite from this year are below, which include the Ciate nail calendar, Yankee Candle Calendar, Beer calendar (from NotOnTheHighstreet.com), Benefit Beauty Calendar and The Selfridges Advent Calander.
Let's face it. When you think of Christmas, you think of Christmas decorations. Whether you're a minimalist person, classical or an all out tinsel-tastic manic, decorations are a must. That's if you celebrate the holidays anyway. I'm a fan of the classic, homely red, green and gold theme. Below I have added photos of my ideal decor, however not everyone has a personal tree decorator and huge house... so I've included my cute mini tree too!

Christmas and food go hand in hand, all I am going to say is indulge! Enjoy handcrafted mincepies, mulled wine and champagne. The food at Christmas is rich and full of taste so induldge as you wont get the chance again to eat like this till December 2015!
Seasonal outfits usually consist of Christmas jumpers and dressing in red and green. Last year I was all over the Christmas jumper, however this year I am not so keen. This year I am going to be wearing Christmas colours but will not be dressing in Christmas Jumpers as lets face it, everyone will be this year!
