Halloween Part Une...

When witches go riding, and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers, ‘tis near Halloween. ~ Author Unknown

Its the day of Halloween, all hallows eve, and the world is looking towards the sinister, ghosts and ghouls, witches and wizards, the sweet atmospheric pleasure of stories and legends. I am currently about to pour fake blood all over my naughty nurse outfit, as I prepare to go out as a murderous, zombie phlebotomist with a vendetta against the world. I love Halloween, the atmosphere, the story's, the fun, the effort put into outfits, the Halloween smells. Halloween is the one night a year you get to fully transform into anything you want, whether super sultry or super sinister, anything goes! As I am preparing to go out tonight I am going to leave you with my outfit from last year, which was more of a classy affair, and a few quotes to get you in the mood. Me and my aunt decided last year to go out for dinner on all hallows eve, and then I came home to watch one of my favourite films, Hocus Focus. My outfit last year was all black and rather plain. I wore lots of black eye liner and hand sewn lace to an old grey tshirt for extra detailing and texture to my outfit. This year, Mm going to be drinking bloody Mary's and dancing the night away to thriller, so stay tuned for my Halloween Part Deux! Below are my photos from last year to get you in the spirit plus a cheeky video...

On Hallowe'en the thing you must do, Is pretend that nothing can frighten you, And if somethin' scares you and you want to run, Just let on like it's Hallowe'en fun. ~ Author Unknown

Hark! Hark to the wind! 'Tis the night, they say, When all souls come back from the far away, The dead, forgotten this many a day! ~ Virna Sheard

Double, double toil and trouble; fire burn and cauldron bubble. ~ from William Shakespeare's "Macbeth"

You wouldn't believe, On All Hallow Eve, What lots of fun we can make, With apples to bob, And nuts on the hob, And a ring-and-thimble cake. ~ Carolyn Wells

Eye of newt, and toe of frog, wool of bat, and tongue of dog, Adder's fork, and blind-worms sting, Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing, for a charm of powerful trouble,

Like a hell-broth boil and bubble. ~ William Shakespeare
